Long Term Renting in Playa del Carmen, Tulum & the Riviera Maya, Mexico
Not knowing the town and neighborhoods, nor the particulars of the culture, and probably not be able to speak enough Spanish makes it hard, confusing and time consuming for everyone looking to rent in Playa del Carmen, Tulum & the Riviera Maya.
Playa-Rentals & Sales has a long history of matching tenants with the perfect rental property and is specialized in offering long-term rentals available for 6 to 12 month. Our service is free for tenants; property owners are paying a finder’s fee.
Because our agents are well connected with property owners and their local Property Managers we are able to offer a large list of long-term rental properties throughout the year even if not all properties available at the time of your request are displayed on our website.
Our Service: Finding a property to rent
Once we get your request, one of our agents will work exclusively with you to check on availabilities of long-term rentals and to find out exactly what you are looking for. He or she will present options for you and upon your arrival here in Playa del Carmen, your agent will have set up appointments to show you properties that fit your criteria. During this showing, you decide which property you want to rent and your agent will be assisting from start to end, including a follow up after you moved in.
Because availabilities are changing in Playa del Carmen very fast (sometimes on a daily base) we start looking in general for a long-term-rental very close to the move in date (less than 1 month before). We do not recommend renting sight unseen.
If you want to secure a long-term rental property a few month before your move in day, you need to know, that most property owners and their Property Managers cannot hold the property for a few month not knowing if you will rent it or not. Playa del Carmen’s rental market is too hot for this.
Tips how to find a long-term-rental online
Search our website and send us an email with your favorite rental properties, we will check on availability and can find similar properties that are not displayed on the website. Do an online search, see what is coming up, and take screenshots of properties you like and send those to one of our agents, so he or she can verify that those are still existing and available. If you look on Facebook, Craigslist or similar websites, always ask one of our agents if those listings are real and existing.
